Coulisse moves forward
Thursday, 03 October 2013 00:00

Coulisse is now represented on every continent with a new showroom in Shanghai and its first steps in the South African window decoration market.

Earlier this year Coulisse made further steps in achieving its international ambitions with the opening of a new showroom in Shanghai and the appointment of a sales manager for South Africa. For the first time since its establishment in 1992, Coulisse is represented on every continent. With that, Coulisse has created the foundation for making it known worldwide as an innovative fashion brand in window decoration.

In Asia as well as in South Africa, the response in the market to the innovative collections and the design appeal of Coulisse has been positive. “We are fully confident that, also in these relatively new markets for us, we will be able to help customers in further developing their window decoration offering and to enrich it with new ideas,” says Klaus Germes, director of components at Coulisse.

Showroom Shanghai

The showroom Coulisse recently opened in Shanghai has been set up in the Coulisse style. “For us, it is the perfect place to convey the idea of Coulisse and to have customers experience the Coulisse concept themselves,” says Dave Chang, director, Asia Pacific.

The first appointments for visits from customers from China, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and several other countries have been scheduled. In light of the growing popularity of the R+T in Shanghai, the showroom, which also serves as a meeting point in Asia for customers and employees of Coulisse, is a real asset for the Dutch company.

Coulisse in South Africa

After in Australia and Asia, Coulisse has now made its first steps into South Africa. Maarten Busger op Vollenbroek is in charge of the development of the market and will frequently be visiting this growing window decoration market to see customers and to make new contacts. “During our first visit, I immediately noticed that with Coulisse we can really add something to the existing offering,” says the new sales manager.
