RA Irwin has launched a new fabric collection for roller and vertical as Blinds & Shutters found out

A  Northern Irish company is launching a new fabric collection for roller and vertical blinds that can transform homes all over the country.

Donaghcloney-based R.A Irwin is branding the new product as the Solas Collection.

Anyone who knows anything about R.A. Irwin, will know this is another top-quality product from a company renowned for its ingenuity.

The Solas brand is firmly established in the window blind market and the launch next month of the new roller and vertical collection is eagerly anticipated.

The launch gives the highly skilled Irwin team the chance to release new, exclusive designs and fabrics. They have been working on the project for the past year and their work is reflected in what is one of the largest print collections contained in a single book in the UK and Irish markets.

Over 90 per cent of the Solas Collection is produced at Irwin's modern plant at Milltown in Donaghcloney - and over 90 per cent of the collection is exclusive to R.A.Irwin.

The colour and design team have been teaming up with interior designers and the net result is one of the most exciting home furnishing products to hit the market for some time.

Years of experience in the textile trade, top quality products, innovations in woven products, unrivalled service - R.A.Irwin have the lot and the launch of their roller and vertical collection is causing quite a stir in the industry.

Sales & marketing director Frank Knox said, "This is a very exciting time for the company and with an in-house design team customers are guaranteed that all the designs are exclusive to the Solas Collections, making it a unique product in the blinds industry.

"Combining these design skills with years of experience for producing top quality fabrics has resulted in innovative weaves and finishes that will also be offered in the collection."

R.A.Irwin have certainly stepped up to the mark in meeting the challenge of the quickly changing home furnishing business and while introducing a high standard of new designs and colours the company has not forgotten about the core business of jacquard weaves and rainforest product.

"These new jacquards will be presented in their own section in our new brochure while a new range of fabrics has been developed to complement the rainforest range," said marketing manager Mark Headley. "We take pride in the fact that all our products are produced under one roof and this enhances the qualities and service available to customers.

"This quality, combined with years of experience, gives customers peace of mind."

Low carbon footprint for all products is another major plus and adds to the justified confidence R.A. Irwin has in meeting the challenges that lie ahead. Their print collection adds to that confidence and underlines the remarkable success story of one of Northern Ireland's most go-ahead companies.
