Belgo Metal

Belgo Metal (Permasteelisa Group), a company specialising in facade architecture, has designed its new headquarters in Wetteren, Belgium as a national technology display window. The design is the work of the architecture agency MDW & A Verbeke.

The company's management and the architects wanted to create a workplace where offices and workshops entwine in a single area promoting contact and a team feeling in the different parts of the business.

Paul Klee's works shaded by Soltis

 In designing the impressive new building constructed to house the works of artist Paul Klee in Bern, Switzerland, architects Renzo Piano decided to weave Ferrari textiles into their plans. Their desire to protect the painter's works from the ravages of time and sunshine led them to dress the facades of this massive building in Soltis 86.

Integrated, automated entertainment, lighting, control and security

Located in London's St John's Wood and with outstanding views overlooking the capital, the Vue complex at Boydell Court, definitely lives up to its name. Comprising six luxury penthouses, the Vue, constructed by Major Stake, on top of an existing block of apartments at Boydell Court, takes minimalist high-tech chic to new levels. With interior design by Found Associates, and Systems Integration across the whole project by LINK Media Systems, attention to detail and finishing underpin every technology and furnishing fitted into the penthouses.  With a track record for providing elegant solutions to complex problems LINK Media's systems design team worked closely with the interior and lighting designers on this project to ensure that the penthouses provide the latest in seamlessly integrated, fully automated entertainment, lighting, control and security.
