The Education market - new opportunities?
Recent research conducted by the universities of Cambridge and Essex has concluded that bright classroom lighting can give pupils headaches and made it harder for them to concentrate. According to the BBC website, the author of the report Dr Mark Winterbottom commented  "A quarter of classrooms did not have blinds, and in half of those that did, blinds were either broken or at least one was missing."
Similarly in the US there has been reports of awnings and canopies being erected over playground areas , swings and climbing frames to keep the kids cool and prevent skin cancer in this age of global warming.
