Launch of R+T Asia 2012

R+T Asia, which has been held annually in Shanghai since 2005, will be staged at Shanghai International Exhibition Centre from 27-29 March 2012.

As the second largest exhibition for roller shutters, doors, gates, windows and sun-protection systems worldwide, R+T Asia has evolved over the last seven years into Asia’s leading trade fair for these sectors. Its size has now increased to 40,000m² with an annual growth rate of over 62 per cent. Many national and international first-class brands have exhibited at R+T Asia, including OMC, Xidamen, Yongshun, Zhenfei, Guanhao, Yuma, Qingying, Baisheng, Xianfeng, Seaside, Did, Sommer, Minghe, Juguang, Superego, Seagate, Somfy, Dooya and Nice. In 2011 R+T Asia attracted 13,119 visitors who were made up of manufacturers, retailers, dealers, architects, property developers and engineering companies. There were 2,046 overseas visitors, from 73 countries and areas, including many fast-growing, emerging economies.

Stand reservation for R+T Asia 2012 commenced in June of this year and general bookings have been open since August.
In comparison to the last event, more attention is to be focused on the following core areas of R+T Asia 2012. As a result of  visitors’ opinion surveys of the last three years, the display area will be divided according to product classification in an effort to improve the professional appearance of R+T Asia and make it more convenient for visitors to negotiate and purchase.

The display areas are as follows: International area, shading products and fabric display area (N1 Hall); Doors, gates, and gate controls display area (N2 Hall); Power and control systems display area (N2 Hall); Energy-saving windows and doors display area (N3Hall); Window adornments and accessories display area (N3 Hall); and Processing machinery display area (N3 Hall).
2012 marks the triennial Europe-China Uniexpo. R+T Stuttgart will be held three weeks earlier than R+T Asia in 2012. As the largest windows, doors and sun-protection systems exhibition, R+T Stuttgart attracts around 60,000 visitors and 800 exhibitors on an area of 105,000m². At Uniexpo, the influence and propaganda of R+T is unprecedented, which will promote ‘Made in China’ and ‘Made in Asia’ to the level of international purchasing markets.

During R+T Stuttgart, information on the Shanghai R+T Chinese platform for windows, doors and sun-protection systems, together with the purchasing list, will be handed out to all exhibitors and visitors. There will be activities relating to China Day, which will be held within the framework of R+T Stuttgart, and on-site registration for R+T Asia will be possible. Massive visitor groups to R+T Stuttgart will also help R+T Asia to invite over 50 windows, doors and sun-protection systems mainstream media.
