Solar Protections Textiles from Ferrari

Ferrari of France has launched a new range of Soltis technical textiles for solar protection - Soltis 86 and Soltis 92, for use outdoors and for roofing, and Soltis BV99 for interior use and fa¬ćcades. This new range is characterised by highly efficient thermal comfort and an exhaustive pallet of original colours.  Soltis 86 is transparent under all conditions, combining solar protection with open areas letting in more light, making it ideal for verandas and conservatories exposed to the north or which require more luminosity. It eliminates up to 86% of solar radiation and ensures visual comfort and is available in 23 colours, including metallic finishes.

Technical Textiles Made for the Office

Junkers & Mollers, the German technical textiles company, has launched a new fabric, Galaxis Alu, which is non-flammable and especially suitable for use on IT work stations. The aluminium sputtering on the rear and its 230cm width make Galaxis ideally suited for interior design applications. Galaxis Alu, made from Trevira CS, extends the range of technical textiles for modern interior design available from Junkers & MŸllers. The transparent material is available both as pleated and roller blind fabric. Its open texture and fine weave maintain visibility from the inside, at the same time as acting as a visual screen and anti-glare blind against the outside.
